While Labor welcomes today’s disclosure of legal fees for Ministers and Members of Parliament, it raises a number of questions for the Government to answer.

• Will they also commit to releasing de-identified details relating to taxpayer funded legal assistance across government?

• Why doesn’t it mention which matters are related to the Integrity Commission?

• Mr Shelton’s matter is still ongoing, but he hasn’t accessed public funding since 2024. Did the original advice preclude him from further taxpayer assistance, and is he continuing to fight the matter in a personal capacity?
