Craig Shirley

Candidate for Franklin

Craig was born, raised and schooled in Clark and has lived his entire life within the electorate, both as a homeowner and as a renter. This has given him a strong understanding of the needs of the community.

He has worked in administration his entire career and currently works passionately within the trade union movement. He has strong community involvement, including tirelessly volunteering with Melanoma Institute Australia for several years.

Craig has a passion for improving the living conditions of all Tasmanians, with better access to public health services a high priority.

He is disgusted by the current Rockliff government’s spending and their inability to deliver major projects on time, or at all, and within budget.

Craig believes in Labor values and strongly stands for keeping Tasmania’s public assets in the hands of Tasmanians for generations to come.
